The Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC) is an Indigenous-focused health workforce specialist and partner. RAHC provides health services mostly in remote and very remote Northern Territory (NT) Aboriginal communities.
As a RAHC Oral Health Therapists, you will work with a supportive team to deliver partner-informed healthcare. You don't have to give up your regular job to work with RAHC. Placements work around your other responsibilities.
To be considered for a placement with RAHC, our Oral Health Therapists must meet a minimum level of criteria, as outlined below.
- Bachelor of Oral Health or equivalent (must be recognised by ADC).
- Current unrestricted registration as a Dental Therapist with AHPRA.
- Minimum of 2 years full-time post graduate experience in a relevant clinical setting.
- Minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience in the past 12 months.
- Current user licence for radiation.
- Evidence of current CPR with evidence of a practical component.
- Evidence of 20 hours of CPD within the past 12 months complaint with ADC requirements.
- Evidence of current professional indemnity insurance.
- Two professional referees who can attest to the applicant's recent clinical experience including one reference from a Dentist
